I loved interviewing Jane Austen's fifth niece, Caroline Jane Knight!
What an honor. And what fun. She is an amazing woman and devoted family historian and memory-keeper. I am deeply grateful for her time and stories! Jane fans will enjoy it. Friends who missed the broadcast asked where they can listen. Below are the permanent links to the show.
It was so nice to learn about Jane's family history with a family member who is carrying forth Jane's legacy in such a powerful way.
Thanks to my hubby Victor Fuhrman, and our friends at Om Times Radio, for the guest hosting gig on Vox Novus! In my newish role of a historian, I spend so much time in archives, libraries, books, museums, and historical places, often looking for clues and covering people who are no longer living. It is such a great opportunity to have a chance to speak with those who keep the memories of historic figures, and women authors, alive!
