Seshat is a Cosmic Connection to the Creative Process.

This age of high technology is unfolding at a rapid speed. But nothing can replace the art of human writing and the power of intuition.

As writers we can learn to develop the age old skill of connecting to the cosmos for insight and inspiration.

The spiritual sciences and traditions have always taught us that there are forces in this universe that are here to teach us, guide us, and give us access to insights that can heighten awareness and lead to transformational spiritual growth.

Ancient history shows us there are Divine helpers who known for their creative prowess.

The ancient Egyptian goddess, Seshat, is a cosmic champion of writers. Her name means "Female Scribe" and one of her main monikers is "She Who Scrivens" which means "She Who Writes."  She presided over scribes, libraries, and the recording of history.

She is also known as "Great Mistress of Scribes" and "Mistress of the House of Books."

In Seshat's world, writing is a sacred act that has magic and power.

Seshat Devotional is for people who feel the call to connect deeply with this goddess as a guide to self-expression, manifestation, and a powerful writing process. She can help us tap into spiritual resources that can be applied in practical ways.

Laurie Sue Brockway, D.Min, MAPH, is devoted student and modern scribal priestess of Seshat. She is also the author of Goddess Seshat, She Who Scrivens, and Seshat Journal.
